UnderSheriff Jim Mullett

Jim Mullett was born in 1968 in Tucson, Arizona. He attended Amphitheater High School and graduated in 1986. He attended Pima Community College for 4 years studying business administration and management.
Jim Mullett married his wife Melissa on July 21st 1990 and has been happily married since. They have two wonderful boys, Jonathan and Anthony and are proud citizens of Garvin County.
Jim started with the Garvin County Sheriff's Office as a Detention Deputy in 2003. He attended Cleet Reserve Academy 03BR4-3 in 2003. He was promoted to field deputy in 2004 and graduated from the Basic Cleet Academy C05B1 in February 2005. In August 2005 Jim Mullett attended that Desert Snow Black Asphalt Training. In October 2005 Jim Mullett graduated from the OBNDD Narcotics Investigator 80 hour course. He is certified as a Basic Instructor for Cleet. Jim was promoted to Sergeant of patrol in 2007. In 2009 he graduated from the 120 hour Criminal Investigation Academy. He was promoted to Undersheriff in 2009 and holds an Advanced Law Enforcement Cleet Certification. In 2015 he graduated from the Sheriff's Academy. Jim Mullett is a member of the Oklahoma Sheriff's Association. He is certified through the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and FEMA as an Incident Commander. He has over 1700 hours of Cleet training with years of field experience.
Jim Mullett started with White Tiger Combat Karate to spend time with his boy and since then has achieved his 3rd degree as a Black Belt. His son Anthony was also the first 16 year old to obtain a black belt in White Tiger Combat Karate at that time. His son Anthony is currently working as a detention deputy for Mayes County Sheriff's Office in Pryor Oklahoma.
Jim Mullett has been serving the citizens of Garvin County as their Undersheriff since 2009 and feels very honored to be a part of this community as a law enforcement officer. He strives to be very professional and holds a high standard of work ethics.
